Dennis L.

Dennis L.:  He’s either in his home-town of Detroit, Michigan or on a plane traveling across the world.  I first met Dennis – editor and founder of Pinstripes and Tweed – at last year’s tartan event held at the Brooks Brothers Georgetown store.  I’ve been a frequent reader of his site for a couple of years now and thought I would feature his unique take on classic menswear style.  One thing to note about his look below.  See that patterned sweater?  Turns out it was hand-knitted on Fair Isle in Scotland that took nearly 200 (yes…two hundred) hours to sew – by hand.  I’d say this piece takes knitwear to a whole new level…

“Style is not about a brand — a label on the clothes. It’s about quality. You can spend a lot of money on a famous brand and it can still be crap quality.”
